The different regional EYDCP's operate to cascade Government policy relating to Care and Early Years Learning into a local framework. The Partnership works with the local authority to draw up and agree a Plan, which meets the needs of children and parents, and to monitor progress against standards. The aim being to ensure that all children can access the highest quality childcare and early years education and that parents who want, can take up employment or training. Those who wish to become a Registered Childminder or Daycare professional should contact the Partnership within their region for details of the local support available..
